Today is the start of the seven-day Feast of Unleavened Bread - a time for removing all sin from our lives. "Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump" (1Cor.5:6-7). As this is a time for us to remove all leaven or sin out of our lives, I am presenting prayers for deliverance from the seven carnal sins of pride, greed, envy, wrath, lust, gluttony and slothfulness over these seven days.
Day 1 - Prayer against pride: Father AHAYAH, I come before you to ask forgiveness for pride in my life. Father, Your Word teaches us that You oppose the proud but that You give grace to the humble (James 4:6). Father, we ourselves are often not aware of the pride within us. Please shine Your light on all thoughts, ways, words and actions that originate from a proud spirit within me.
Father, today I renounce all pride within me, and all its manifestations, including haughtiness, arrogance, vanity, ego, disobedience, rebellion, self-righteousness, self-importance, perfectionism, control, being concerned about the opinion of others and looking for praise of man, being unteachable and judgemental. Father AHAYAH, please forgive me for allowing pride to dwell within me and the manifestation of it in my life.
Father, in Your name and authority, I break all generational curses of pride and rebellion. I command all generational spirits and hereditary spirits of pride and rebellion operating in my life to be bound and cast out in the name of YashaYah. I command all spirits of pride, stubbornness, disobedience, rebellion, self-will, selfishness, arrogance and all other manifestations named above to come out of my will in the name of YashaYah.
Thank you Father AHAYAH, I receive my deliverance from these spirits by faith. Thank you, Father for the Blood of the Lamb that cleanses us. Thank you, Father, that you remember our sins no more once we have been washed by the Blood of the Lamb and that You remove them from us as far as the east is from the west. Father, please grow within me a humble spirit and a heart willing to serve You and others with joy and gladness.
I pray this in the mighty name of my Saviour, YashaYah.
