About "Behold, I Am Doing a New Thing"
This site is dedicated to the Most High Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to bring praise, honour and glory to Him, His Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth and His Holy Spirit, the Ruach HaKodesh.
The title bears witness of what Father is doing in my own life and the lives of many. I am not the same person I was 5 years ago. Father has transformed me from living in the world as one that can be described as a lukewarm Christian, into His servant desiring to follow His commandments and being obedient to His will. This scripture from Isaiah perfectly captures my journey:
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:18-19).
The work contained within this site is done in obedience to the Great Commission from our Master and Saviour to all His followers: “Go and make disciples of all nations … teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). Through these writings I aim to share what I learnt and it is my hope to inspire you also to dig into the Word as recorded in the Bible. The Word is “living and active” (Hebrews 4:12) and as one studies it and allows oneself to be washed by it daily, one is renewed and transformed. This is what I have experienced. Today I thank the Most High Father for opening my eyes to the joy of His Word. I can testify that His Word is rich in wisdom, timely for every situation, and powerful in transforming the mind and spirit. Through the Word we discover how deeply we are loved and treasured by the Almighty God and Creator of the universe. And as we begin to understand who and what God is, all fear is removed and replaced by faith in Him, a God we cannot see, but who is always with us and by whose hands we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
We serve a God who loves us so much that He died for us to bring us back to Him. He is patient with us, and as a loving Father He is offering to all of us complete forgiveness of sin and everlasting life in His presence. All that He desires from us is that we use our free will to choose Him, to decide that we want to follow Him and that we humble ourselves before Him to ask for forgiveness of our sins. Through His Holy Spirit He will instruct us and teach us his way, He will counsel us with His eye upon us (Psalm 32:8).
I pray that through my writings I will inspire you to strive to get to know God for yourself and allow Him to transform you. Today, I am filled with joy and even in the face of trials and difficult circumstances, I have peace knowing that He is my Good Shepherd (Psalm 23) and that I am protected under His wings (Psalm 91). Hallelujah!
Thank you Father, I honour and I praise You.
