Satan, our adversary, is roaming around seeing who he can devour. Today let's look at guidance from the Word on how to gain victory over satan.
- When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. (Ps.34:17)
- This is what the Lord says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's'. (2Chr.20:15)
- Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. (Luke10:19)
- Little children, you are of God, and have overcome them; for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1John4:4)
- Through You we push back our adversaries, through Your name we will trample down those who rise up against us. (Ps.44:5)
- I would have you wise as to what is good and guileless as to what is evil; then the God of peace will soon crush satan under your feet. (Rom.16:19-20).
- Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)
Brothers and Sisters, the Word warns us to remain watchful because our enemy is a liar and a deceiver. However, when we look at what the Word says, we see that we do not have to fear satan. We have been given authority over ALL his power, we have been given the armour of God to protect us and we know that our Yah fights for us. The Word tells us that when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him (Isa.59:19) and that in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. (Rom.8:37). Hallelujah!
My Prayer
Thank you, Father Yahuah, that You are our rock and our fortress; our shield and our buckler. We rejoice knowing that if You are for us; who can be against us? Father, we worship You and praise Your holy name. In Jesus' name. Aman.
