Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand; REPENT, and believe in the gospel." (Mark 1:24-15)

Dear Lord Jesus, you preached that we should all repent and believe the good news about forgiveness of sins and salvation. Today we come to pray for all those who are still walking in darkness and in sin. Your Word says that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. It says, "Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolators, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-20).

Thank you that You love all of us and that through Your blood and death on the cross there is forgiveness of sin for all sinners. We plead for all those who are still trapped in those things that will prevent them from inheriting the Kingdom of God. Please convict them of their sin and their need for repentance. Thank you that no sinner is beyond Your forgiveness. Thank you that when we repented, You removed our sins from us as far as the East is from the West. Please speak into those hearts that feel they are too far gone to be saved; please soften those hearts that feel they don't need to repent; please open the eyes of those who do not see their sin. Holy Spirit, you have convicted us of our sin when we were walking in darkness, you brought us to repentance and lifted the burden of sin from us; and you are still guiding us daily in laying down that which is not pleasing to You. Thank you. We plead that you would do it also for those still in sin, our brothers and sisters, our loved ones and all those around us who are lost and without hope. Thank you for Your love and for Your mercy. Aman.
