Holy Yahushua, Your Words says in Isaiah 43:18-19 - "Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I'm doing a new thing" and in Luke 5:37 it tells us that one cannot put new wine into an old wine skin.
Father, we are a people clinging to our traditions and our way of life and we try to avoid change as far as possible. We love things to be the way they have always been and we do not cope well with being taken out of our comfort zone.
Today we come before you to ask for wisdom to understand and embrace this new thing that you are doing. Please help us not to cling to the past and strive to restore the past at all cost and in the process make decisions that can ultimately separate us from You, our God and our Redeemer. Father I pray for deepening of our faith so that we can with confidence trust Your plans knowing that Your plans for us are to prosper us, to give us a future and a hope.
Please help us to fully submit ourselves to the working of the Holy spirit within us to renew and refresh us so that we can embrace what you are doing at this time.
We pray this in the night name of Yahushua HaMasiach. Aman.
