Dear Lord Jesus today we come together to pray for all those who find themselves trapped in addictions that hinder that walk with You as Lord and Saviour. We bring before You those who are bound through drug and alcohol addiction, gambling and gaming addictions, addiction to food, sport and shopping, sex and pornography and so much more.
Lord Jesus, Your Word says that You have been anointed to proclaim liberty to the captives, and opening of the prison to those who are bound. Please establish Your Word in the lives of these individuals today. Please grant them the wisdom and the courage to repent and to call out to You to set them free and to restore their lives. Thank you that You have already done this for so many others. In Your mercy please do it for these ones also.
